Family Camp for Stacy

Every year Stacy and her family go to Family Camp at the Boy Scout Camp - Camp Bartlett.  This year she was going to be on staff helping run the camp and she needed a hard sided trailer.  Under the current circumstances Nate was more than happy to drive our trailer up there for her so she and Payton could still go.  We decided to make a day of it.  We left about 10:30 stopping in Preston for lottery tickets.  My Mom came with us and she is convinced that is going to win it some day so we can't ever pass the chance to get lottery tickets.  We got Stacy all set up at camp, had lunch and then went to Oneida Reservoir to fish.  Well tried to fish I should say....Nate had no luck except in the crawdad department.  They were all over, you could just pick them up out of the water and so that is exactly what the boys did, GROSS!!  We brought Aubree's BFF Taylee along too and they had fun playing in the water and making a rock collection.

A long day in the car always calls for some cookies.

This picture doesn't do the view justice, the hills were covered in yellow flowers.  It was beautiful.

This is about the time that delirious set in, they were so tired by the time we started our way home.  With the three of us in the back of the truck it didn't make for the most comfortable sleeping positions either.  Good thing Taylee is so tiny and that Aubree can sleep anywhere.  And pay no attention to the wrap on Taylee's arm, that is their new thing.....to pretend like they broke their arms.  Silly girls.
